Pfersee

Portrait of King Rupert
Portrait of King Rupert on Rupprechtstrasse

The town of Pfersee is a suburb of Augsburg. In one section of the town there are a number of streets named after members of the House of Wittelsbach. 1

Rupprechtstrasse is named after King Rupert; there is a portrait of Rupert on a building wall at the intersection of Rupprechtstrasse and Leopoldstrasse.

There was formerly an Adelgundenstrasse named after Queen Adelgunde, wife of King Francis I; it was merely a lane behind the Adlhochschule (a high school) and was destroyed when the present gymnasium was built.
